ASIN: B00VJFVN5Q
ISBN-10: 0692564802
ISBN-13: 978-0692564806
Genre: Non-Fiction

The Little Girl Inside is a prolific story of triumph and discovery of inner peace. With each page, the reader will be captivated while the author uses the writing pen as a sowing tool-seaming a garment of praise, banner of victory and fabric of joy. With imaginative color, the book is a perfectly designed combination of patterns expressing the maturation of a woman.

A uniquely designed transparent jewel every woman should own in her jewelry box. The Little Girl Inside is a ministry resource tool for women in search for transparency in the human heart. The author shows us how to overcome the inner battle of doing the right thing the wrong way, going from finding love in the wrong places to allowing love to be revealed in the right time and in the right place.

I made room for Sir Intellectual to bring what I thought were the remainder of hi things. I also made room on my health insurance policy just in case he didn't have any. Too bad it didn't occur to me to ask him. My ability to confront was non-existent. I decided not to wait until I returned to work to handle it. I contacted my carrier and updated my policy to include my new husband.

The whole time I felt sad that he wasn't contacting his carrier to include me. I had a husband, though what caliber of husband, I wasn't sure. Sometimes I wanted to slap myself for being so needy that I overlooked important things and ignored flags, bells, and whistles.

Then something clicked. As she writes, she is in hopes that her work reaches her readers that have been through something and have contemplated giving up. Her goal is to enable her readers to become empowered to keep moving forward to accomplish their dreams no matter what challenges they have been faced with.

Back From Broken Virtual #Book Tour

Write Now Literary is pleased to announce Back From Broken by Rosheka Henry Virtual book Tour January 9-20, 2017.
Book Release Date: June 2016
Genre: Religious/Self Help

WHY SOCIAL NETWORKS ARE THE KEY TO NETWORKING

In this 21st century you cannot be an author and not have social networks that you are apart of. While you do not have to have all of them, as there are way to many for you as an author to be on, but you need to select at least 3 or 4 to participate on a consistent basis. There are many benefits to being on social networks and participating on them. Here are just a few reasons that I believe you should use the social media platform to network and also to brand yourself as an author.

  • 1.      Social Media/the Internet is the great equalizer. Not to many years ago if you wanted to be an author you had to write a book, get an agent and hope that a Major Publishing Company liked your story and picked you up. In this 21st century those days are long gone. As an author, you have the ability to Publish your own work and not wait for a Publishing Company to pick your story up, you can do it on your own with your own team.

  • 2.      Social Media allows you to interact with your audience directly. You can talk with your fans and develop a more personal relationship with them with social media. They do not have to wait until you have a book signing in order to interact with you.

  • 3.      Social Media allows you to have a global audience and not just be tied to people in your geographical location or nationally, you can sell books right on social media as well.

  • 4.     With social media you get to promote, brand and sell all in one place to millions of people. Social media also allows you to join groups and get exposure that you would not get other wise.

  • Social Media has grown in just the past few years and the technology of it is changing each and everyday. If you are not using social media as an author then you are not serious about being an author. You have to understand that social media is FREE marketing and advertising, for the most part and using it is key to you being a successful author!!!

#Book #Review - True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself by Janet Jackson

True You: A Journey to Finding and Loving YourselfTrue You: A Journey to Finding and Loving Yourself by Janet Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

First of all, to clear up the confusion, no, this is not a steamy, scandalous tell-all memoir. But I knew that from the moment Janet Jackson announced she was working on this book. It is a self-help book in which she shares some details of her struggle with self-esteem and her yo-yoing weight. It is a glimpse inside her life that she shares in hopes of helping others who battle the same issues. The content resonated with me causing me to take many notes and highlight and underline some key points. This book is not for everyone, but is extremely helpful to those who need to know they are not alone in their struggles. I especially loved the photos of Janet that are included and the recipes at the end are an added bonus. I do wish the recipes had included photos as well, but all in all, this was a great book. I would definitely recommend it to others.

Love is one of the most consumed terms in the human language. It’s probably the most wrongly used word, but the word that is most necessary when used correctly. With an inaccurate definition of love we find ourselves searching for something to fulfill us, but in all of our searching we miss it. We miss it because unfortunately we don’t recognize that we are already perfectly loved. The problem is not the overuse of the word love. If it were up to God, we would use it at all times. The problem is, we say the word but don’t do any of the actions that come with its meaning. The problem is that we don’t know what God wanted it to mean, because we don’t give God the credit for the most amazing thing He ever created—LOVE! Perfectly Loved will bring us back to the understanding of love from the creator and embodiment of love Himself. Each chapter includes “Think About It” questions and a study verse that are perfect for individual study, Bible Study, and small group lessons. As you explore how God loves you, you will also build love in your relationships with other people, and God. When you discover “perfect love” you will be able to relinquish your fears, push through your adversity, and serve others with love.

New #Nonfiction Release - Flash #Devotional

About the Book:

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven..."
Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

While our Heavenly Father is an unchanging God, change is inevitable for us as we travel the earth in our fleshly bodies. And since it is inevitable, it would behoove us to learn to embrace it rather than resist it. However, change is uncomfortable. And who wants to be uncomfortable? But there is often a blessing in being uncomfortable. As a matter of fact, the most wonderful blessings are often found beyond your comfort zone. Oftentimes, we fight change when God is merely trying to position us for a miracle or, at the very least, a blessing.

In this short devotional, Author Adrienne Thompson shares insight about change and highlights the importance of obedience to God using her own personal experiences.

This is the first in her Flash Devotional Series and her first stand-alone, nonfiction title.
