#WriterWednesday - Help me pick a book cover... please!

Hello, all! I'm planning to publish a very short devotional on November 25, and I am needing your help! I've created 3 eBook covers and I'm having trouble choosing one. So please vote for your favorite cover by commenting below. The winning cover will be announced on Wednesday, November 19.

Here's the book's blurb:

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven..."
Ecclesiastes 3:1 KJV

While our Heavenly Father is an unchanging God, change is inevitable for us as we travel the earth in our fleshly bodies. And since it is inevitable, it would behoove us to learn to embrace it rather than resist it. However, change is uncomfortable. And who wants to be uncomfortable? But there is often a blessing in being uncomfortable. As a matter of fact, the most wonderful blessings are often found beyond your comfort zone. Often times, we fight change when God is merely trying to position us for a miracle or, at the very least, a blessing.

In this short devotional, Author Adrienne Thompson shares insight about change and highlights the importance of obedience to God using her own personal experiences.

This is the first in her Flash Devotional Series and her first stand-alone, nonfiction title.

Here are the covers:

Cover 1

Cover 2

Cover 3

  1. Hi Adrienne,
I'm wavering between 2 and 3, but I guess 3 would win out for me because of that scene from nature.

  2. Cover no3 works for me. I love the image of the trees and leaves.

  3. I choose No. 1 because the title stands out the best and I like the background design. The third one is too busy for me.

  4. Good photography wins me over everytime.. so cover number 3 for me.

  5. Clearly #2 - It is a liturgical color - the font is classic yet fresh

  6. I prefer cover 3. It's real. The others look like text book covers to me :) Hope that helps!

  7. The title and the colors of the leaves, makes me think of the inner being of a person whether they can change or not. WTBS cover 3

  8. #3, but not without tweaking. I'd get rid of the tree and just show the leaves...the text, at least the title and your name, needs highlighting or something to get it to stand out; it's lost at present and will only be more so when viewed as a thumbprint.
