I am a fan of Lady Day--the legend and her music. That being said, this collection of poetry is a fitting and beautiful tribute to her. Atmospheric and emotional, visual and gritty, this work is a must read for lovers of music and poetry. I absolutely loved it and hated for it to end. Highly recommend.
